CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A Flash Flood Watch has been issued that affects Montgomery County.

Widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop late Wednesday night through Thursday. Heavy rainfall of two to four inches is expected.

Flash flooding is possible with the heaviest downpours, which could lead to quick flooding of roads, poor drainage areas, and low-lying locations.

The watch will last from 1 a.m. Thursday to 1 a.m. Friday.
