CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW.COM) Six people were taken to the hospital following a shooting overnight outside a nightclub on College Street.
Clarksville Police responded to a call of shots fired at 1:58 am, in the the 1300 block of College St. near the El Punto nightclub.
The severity of injuries is unknown at this time and police say they have no details on a suspect or suspects.
The injured individuals were transported to Tennova Healthcare and Vanderbilt Hospital.
The Crime Scene Unit and five police cruisers were on the scene until mid morning and the area was marked off by crime scene tape.
It appears that this was not a random shooting and does not pose a threat to the general public.
