CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville firefighters battled a fire at the Burger King location on Wilma Rudolph Blvd. Thursday afternoon.
Fire chief Ray Williams said the 2-alarm fire began shortly after 2 p.m. Four trucks attempted to contain the blaze.
“There is a lot of smoke, but most of it is white, which is good,” Williams said. The building was not fully-engulfed.
Authorities said the fire started in a mulch bed before spreading to the restaurant.
Four customers and several employees were inside the building when the fire sparked.
No injuries have been reported. Officials have not released what caused the fire.
