CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Several businesses were damaged by a fire in Clarksville early Monday morning. Units from Clarksville Fire Rescue were dispatched to a 7000 sq ft commercial structure fire at 4:13 a.m.

The first responding engine arrived in five minutes, and flames were coming through the roof upon arrival. Riverside Dr. was shut down while crews battled the blaze, the fire was brought under control around 5:30 a.m. No injuries were reported in the blaze.

All businesses were unoccupied at the time of the fire. Four business owners are displaced from the North Riverside Dr. location at this time. Fire Investigators Capt. Chuck Ladd and Capt. Jobe Moore have determined that the fire was accidental and was caused due to electrical arching in the attic.
