CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A family was displaced by a fire Wednesday morning at their home on the 2000 block of Teakwood Dr.
Deputy Fire Marshal Ray Williams said the fire was caused by a heat lamp in a dog house outside the home. The fire spread up the vinyl siding of the house and traveled into the attic.
Both dogs were rescued and no animals or people were injured.
When firefighters arrived, the back part of the house was engulfed in smoke and flames. The family has been displaced.
