CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The final tally is in, and this year’s Beaver 100.3 Camp Rainbow Radiothon raised $70,139 to send kids from across the area to Camp Rainbow.

During the two-day Radiothon, Beaver radio on-air personalities, particularly Rob and Monica, shared heartwarming stories from campers, counselors and parents about how Camp Rainbow has touched their lives.

Camp Rainbow is a summer camp held every year at Land Between the Lakes for children that otherwise couldn’t go to a camp because of their medical condition. Each year, between 40 and 45 children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old attend, along with close to 100 volunteers.

The radiothon ended Friday with just over $69,000 raised, but since then more electronic payments have filtered in from our generous community, bringing the total over $70,000. Since 2009, the Radiothon has now raised over $940,000 for Camp Rainbow.
