Residents sang along to “That’s Amore” as the smell of Italian food filled the building of Fieldstone Place.

Fieldstone Place offers independent and assisted living apartments, as well as an adult day program and short stays for seniors with specialized needs. Thursday evening, independent living residents were invited to an authentic dinner followed by a discussion with palliative care experts from Goals of Care.

First, residents enjoyed an Italian-inspired dinner served by Fieldstone Place’s Chef Keagan Bolema and guest Chefs Laura Braga and Julian Phan. The meal consisted of a pasta bar, roasted butternut cream soup with whipped ricotta, pork roulade with saffron polenta and wilted spinach and sea salt budino for dessert. Chef Keagan was determined to prepare a nice treat for the Fieldstone Place Residents and guest family members.
