SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – The Goodwill Career Solutions center at 2008 Memorial Blvd. in Springfield will host a Construction Job Fair from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Friday, April 1, for at least four employers seeking to fill more than 65 positions.
Goodwill says several of the employers have indicated they will consider applicants who have felony criminal histories.
Employers include Civil Constructors, Stansell Electric, Shaub Construction ,and Wright Construction of Tennessee. Openings include flagger, general labor, pipe-layer, heavy equipment operator, electrician, drywall hanger, plumber, carpenter and other positions.
These companies’ ongoing projects include expansion of Tom Austin Highway in Springfield and construction of a new convenience store. Rates of pay range from $13-$18.75 per hour.
Representatives from these companies will be on-site and interviews are possible, so job-seekers should dress for success. Job candidates are encouraged to bring a resume, photo ID and their Social Security card or birth certificate.
