CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A surprise visit from your boss…at your home… on a Saturday. Doesn’t sound like a good combination but for the teachers of Sango Elementary School they could not be more delighted.

A first grade teacher at the school was thrilled to see her principals arrive on her doorstep this weekend. Especially when she saw the costumes. They were “dressed as two peas to let us know we are a’pea’ciated,” said Fields.

Principal Erin Hedrick and Assistant Principal, Shery Winn, spent over twelve hours driving around dressed as giant pea pods. They stopped at 55 homes delivering signs and a special gift to each educator.

The pair says they traveled roughly 250 miles. “We truly appreciate all they do to make our school such a wonderful place to be!” said Hedrick.
