NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Nashville police have cleared a Nashville high school to reopen Friday after it was closed due to what officials described as a “significant threat.”

Metro Police spokesman Don Aaron said the department’s bomb squad and K-9s found nothing at Antioch High School during a sweep on Thursday. The school had been closed earlier in the day after officials said it had received a “significant threat.”

Aaron did not describe the nature of the threat but did say it was electronic and so specific that it heightened security concerns. He said police are continuing to investigate who made the threat.

Meanwhile, media report a high school in nearby Brentwood was evacuated briefly after a bomb threat was found on a bathroom wall.
