Contributed commentary by Kenneth Tenbarge, surviving father of Allison Tenbarge, who was murdered in April 2017:

I, Kenneth Tenbarge, retired police officer and lieutenant sheriff of Vanderburgh County, Indiana, support Robert Nash as the district attorney for Montgomery and Robertson Counties.

I worked with a number of prosecuting attorneys in my career but never the way I did with Nash. He represented the rule of law in the case against the man who took my daughter’s life and that of my unborn grandson. Most important for me at that time was to feel heard and understood and to know my daughter’s story would be told.

Nash thoroughly prepares for his cases and truly cares for the people he serves. He has a superior understanding of local law and presents the facts. With Nash, you get a man who remains dedicated and loyal beyond the courtroom. In the four years leading up to the verdict in my daughter’s case, I could call on Nash for his listening ear and his professional insight. Still today, he is a trusted friend.

He is truly a devoted public servant worthy of the position of district attorney. I commend him and fully support his candidacy.
