CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was killed in a crash in Montgomery County Saturday afternoon.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol said it happened at Highway 79 and Clear Springs Road, near the Kentucky state line, just after 3 p.m.
Two cars were involved, and one person died. The victim’s identity has not been released.
Residents in the area told Clarksvillenow that traffic was at a standstill and the roadway blocked for nearly 3 hours.
