CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Farmers Home Furniture has opened in Clarksville and is one of the latest businesses to join the Clarksville Area Chamber of Commerce. Store Manager Gary Hill said Farmers specializes in furniture and all the things that someone can use in their home.
Hill said Farmers is a family oriented business serving the local community and being a good neighbor. Farmers feature furniture, TV’s, appliances, air conditioners and they offer delivery for your purchases. Farmers is also part of over 230 plus stores throughout the southeast.
The company was started by Sherwin Glass in Soperton, Georgia in 1949 and today Farmers is an employee owned and operated company and Hill added it is the largest employee owned company in the southeast.
