CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – UPDATE: Chico was found before noon Monday.
A Clarksville family continues to search for their missing dog after a misleading post online has left them confused and concerned.
Chico, a 7-year-old miniature Yorkshire terrier, went missing from his home this weekend in the Ashton Place neighborhood behind Publix at Peachers Mill Rd. and Tiny Town Rd.
His owners began searching for him and were told about a post on Bookoo. When they attempted to view the post, they found it had been removed only two hours after the original listing. They have been unable to contact the individual who found Chico and are still not sure where he is located.
Chico is black and tan, weighs four to five pounds, and is missing a front tooth. Anyone who sees him or knows where he is can call 931-624-8025.
