CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Clarksville Fire Rescue responded to a fire late Sunday morning at 1183 Viewmont Dr. that displaced a family of four.
Assistant Fire Chief Ricky Cumberland said the fire is under investigation but appears to be accidental. It started on the outside of the house, with a significant amount of damage to the home.
There were two adults, two children and a pet dog in the house at the time of the fire but no injuries were reported.
Phillip Barletto, Disaster Program Manager for the Tennessee River Chapter of American Red Cross, said volunteers provided assistance with a place to stay, clothing, food and local community referral information.
