CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – A house in New Providence was heavily damaged in a fire Tuesday afternoon.
At about 1:53 p.m., Clarksville Fire Rescue was called to the 200 block of Cave Street, just north of Providence Boulevard. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the home, according to CFR. A family of five lived in the home, but there were no injuries.

Fire investigators were on the scene Tuesday afternoon determining the cause of the fire. The TN River Chapter of the American Red Cross was called to assist the displaced family
Battalion 3 crews units from Stations 5, 6 and 1 responded, CFR said.
