Smoke and flames were coming from a front window when firefighters arrived, CFR said. The fire was quickly brought under control.

No one was home at the time of the fire, but two cats succumbed to the smoke and one dog was missing.

Hayley Byard said on a GoFundMe page that the fire started while she and her husband were at work, and that the fire was an accident that started with the stove.

“We lost everything including all our clothing other than what we are wearing. To our community, family, and friends, we appreciate everyone for reaching out. We continue to ask for prayers as we start this new journey to rebuild.”
