CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Northeast High School held a balloon release October 23, in memory of senior Kameron Anderson.

Kameron Anderson passed away on October 21 after being diagnosed with brain cancer nine months ago.

His mother, Felicia Anderson, remembers Kameron fondly. “Even when he couldn’t, he still smiled,” she said.

His mother and other family members were surrounded by students who came into contact with Kameron. Numerous students stepped forward and told stories of growing up with Kameron and how much he meant to each of them. Kameron was described as inspiring to his friends and family.

Kameron’s Grandmother, Annie McHenry, told the students to always smile because that is what Kameron would have wanted it.
