CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) The Food Initiative in Clarksville-Montgomery County will hold its 3rd Annual Hog Roast Hootenanny on Saturday, April 27 at the Food Initiative farm at 5470 Sango Road.
The family-friendly festivities will be going on from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. and will include good food, games, and live music. A whole hog will be roasted that was raised on the Food Initiative farm, so bring a lawn chair, relax and have a great time.
Adult tickets for the Hog Roast Hootenanny are $15, children’s tickets are $7 for ages 3-12-years-old, and children under 2 are free.
The Food Initiative is a nonprofit organization with a 12-acre farm which is an instrument to bring the community together to learn and experience the food system first hand. The farm features a wide variety of organically grown, seasonal produce as well as raising laying hens, goats and pigs.
