CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – A local woman and her children recently provided a generous donation to the Clarksville Police Department (CPD).
On Tuesday morning, the department received children’s books and stuffed animals from Brittany Glynn and her children.
CPD said Glynn raised $500 for the donation and Usborne Publishing Company helped by donating $250.
Glynn’s family was able to donate $750 worth of books with matching stuffed animals for officers to give to children that they come in contact with.
“The Clarksville Police Department wants to thank Mrs. Glynn and her family,” spokesperson Sgt. Charles Gill said.
