CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Produced by The Downtown Clarksville Association, First Thursday Art Walk is a free, self-guided tour spanning a 5-block radius that combines visual art, live music, engaging events and more in the heart of Downtown Clarksville.

With 10+ venues, bars and businesses participating each month, the First Thursday Art Walk in Clarksville is the ultimate opportunity to savor and support local creative talent.

The February Art Walk will be held February 1 from 5-8 p.m. at the shops and galleries on Public Square, Franklin Street, and Strawberry Alley.

ARTIST INFORMATION:
DAC (Downtown Artist Cooperative) is proud to announce our 7th Annual DAC Juried Photo Expo. DAC welcomes all amateur and professional photographers from Clarksville and the surrounding area to participate.

A Clarksville tradition, the DAC Juried Photo Expo features multiple categories and styles of photography. All work entered is will be juried by our professional jurors for cash awards. The announcement of winners and awards will be given at 5 pm on Thursday, February 1st during Clarksville’s First Thursday Artwalk.

Entries can range from modern digital photography, to traditional B&W film and alternative process photography. Categories of photography are Landscape/Nature, Human Portrait/Figure Study, Still Life and Experimental/Alternative Process. Jurors for this year’s Expo are H.N. James and Jay Preston Swafford.
