Exit 1 Piano and Music Lessons, Madison Street Music and Arts Academy plan Christmas Remix, Instrument Petting Zoo

Exit 1 Piano and Music Lessons and the Madison Street Music and Arts Academy would like to invite you to two events coming up in January.

Open House Christmas Remix, at Exit 1 Piano and Music Lessons, 130 Alfredo Drive, Building 2, Suite C, on Tuesday, Jan. 9, from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

The Open House Christmas Remix event will give potential students and parents the opportunity to tour the facility and meet some of our teachers. Unfortunately, we had to cancel most of our fall semester recitals due to the tornado on Dec. 9, so we have also invited some of our students to perform their recital music at the Open House, including some holiday music! We hope you’ll join us to keep the holiday spirit going!

Instrument Petting Zoo, at Madison Street Music and Arts Academy, 403 Madison St., on Friday, Jan. 12, from 4:30-7:30 p.m.

The Instrument Petting Zoo will give potential students the opportunity to try out different instruments to find the right fit for them! Students from Austin Peay State University’s NAfME (National Association for Music Educators) Chapter will be available to guide students as they try out various instruments. This event would be especially great for late elementary students who are considering joining band in middle school. Adults and children of all ages are invited to attend and sample the instruments.

We’re excited to be joined by the Parlor Doughnuts food truck at both events. We hope you’ll consider joining us at either or both events and grab a sweet treat or a coffee while you’re there!

Both the Madison Street Music and Arts Academy and Exit 1 Piano and Music Lessons are schools that offer private music lessons on a variety of instruments such as piano, violin and cello, guitar, voice, and brass and woodwind instruments that you would find in a typical middle or high school band, along with a few others. Both schools will begin their 2024 Spring Semester the week of Jan. 21. Exit 1 Piano and Music Lessons has a 16-week semester while the Madison Street Music and Arts Academy has a 14-week semester.
