The barbecue smokehouse at Excell Market Bar-B-Q went up in flames Monday morning, but there was no damage to their main building.
CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The barbecue smokehouse at Excell Market Bar-B-Q went up in flames Monday morning, but there was no damage to their main building.
The fire was reported to 911 at 10:21 a.m., and Montgomery County Fire Chief Ed Baggett said the smokehouse is a “total loss.”

The smokehouse is behind the market and is where the meat is smoked and prepared.
“We are blessed; we got nobody hurt, everything is good,” said co-owner CK Patel, adding that they will keep cooking, using a side area. “The pit will be ready in about a week or two, but we’re still cooking the barbecue,” Patel said.
