Ewing C. Buckner, 90, Clarksville, passed away Friday, August 1, 2014.

A celebration of his life will be held 1 p.m. on Wednesday August 6, 2014 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 11 a.m. until the hour of service on Wednesday. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Buckner was born April 15, 1924 in Dickson County and was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lillian Hodges Buckner; wife, Louise Reynolds Buckner; and his sister, Lavenna Buckner Bell.
He was a 1943 graduate of Charlotte High School and a member of Hilldale United Methodist Church. Ewing was one of the first TV and radio repairmen in Clarksville and owned and operated Buckner Radio and TV Service.

Survivors include his son, Douglas (Janelle) Buckner; grandchildren, Clair Buckner, Mary Katherine Deal, Bucky (Mandy) Buckner, Katie Buckner Fralick, Lydia Novruzon; great-grandchildren, Mary Evelyn Deal, Lafayette Deal, Balec Buckner and Noah Buckner.
