Eva Sue Tinsley, age 87, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023.
Services will be held 12 noon on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at Bellevue Baptist Church, Memphis, TN, The West Building. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Eva entered this life on November 8, 1935, in Memphis, TN to the late James and Margaret Deese. She was a member of Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis, TN.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Hicks.
Survivors include her sons, James (Lisa) Hicks, and Richard (Joyce) Hicks; daughter, Sherry Davis; grandchildren, Star Chapman, Mitchell Hicks, Matthew Hicks, and Trinity Kendell, eight great-grandchildren, and siblings, Jimmy Deese, Mary Searcy, Judy Williams, and Anita Stone.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bellevue Baptist Church.
