The ESPN Clarksville & Culvers Athletes of the Week are the Clarksville Christian School Lady Centurions.
The team recently won the 2019 National Association of Christian Athletes National Tournament.
Lady Centurions Coach Margaree King-Richard was exuberant.
“Every young lady on our team has the heart of a champion, and now we have the hardware to match!” she said. King-Richard also attributed the successful season to her assistant coaches, Cleveland Richard, Jeff Pettway, and Darnell Wilks along with the support of the players, parents, and the school.
Clarksville Christian School President Dr. Brad Moser said he was very proud of the team and praised them for their hard work and their battle through adversity throughout the season.
