Sydneey Boykin, junior point guard who also plays shooting guard for the Clarksville Academy Cougars, is our latest ESPN Clarksville & Culver’s High School Athlete of the Week
“Sydneey is such a fun player to watch, she plays both ends of the floor with equal intensity. I think she loves the defensive side, she’s got some length with her arms where she can get her hands on a lot of steals and deflections. That alone has helped propel our team into offense from our defense,” said Head Girls Basketball Coach Carrie Daniels.
Academically, Daniels said Boykin is a terrific student, works very hard in the classroom and is a member of the National Honor Society, adding that she is an all-around student athlete who knows the importance of her academics.
