Northeast High School’s Senior Running Back, Fred Orr, is the latest ESPN Clarksville & Culver’s Athlete of the Week.
Orr had 18 carries for 168 yards, which was a big part of the Eagles’ 40-10 victory over McCracken County last week.
NEHS Head Football Coach Chad Watson praised Orr’s efforts.
“He ran the ball really hard, lowered his pads, did everything we asked him to, and also scored three touchdowns,” Watson said.
In addition to his athletic achievements, Orr maintains a 3.0 GPA and recently scored a 27 on the ACT.
Watson said Orr currently has an offer from the Air Force Academy and has also received interest from Ivy League universities.
