NASHVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville teen who escaped with a group of other boys from a juvenile detention facility in Nashville has been captured.
At about 6:20 today, Bruce Johnson Jr., 15, of Clarksville, and Bryon Reid, of 17, Johnson City, were caught in Pleasant View in Cheatham County.
They face serious charges in Pleasant View for their alleged involvement in at least one carjacking. They reportedly rammed a Pleasant View police vehicle in an attempt to evade arrest, according to Nashville Metro Police.
A third boy, Ervyon Moore, 16, of Chattanooga, was located Tuesday at a relative’s home in North Georgia near the Tennessee border. He was taken into custody without incident, police said.
A fourth boy was caught the night of their escape at a convenience store.
The four boys escaped Saturday night from Youth Opportunity juvenile detention facility, 279 Stewart’s Ferry Pike, according to police. They overpowered a guard and ran, police said.
