Ernest Roger Blair, age 76 of Clarksville, passed away at his residence on Monday, July 26, 2021.
He was born May 1, 1945 in Holyoke, Mass., the son of the late Alford Blair and Veronica Veilette Joyal. Ernie served for two years in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. During his working life, he was employed in the construction and maintenance field for many years.
While living in Florida, he was active in the Senior Follies. They performed shows to raise money to benefit senior citizens.
He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Clearman Blair; son, Ernie Blair, Jr..; and daughters, Melissa Blair, Jody Blair, Bobbie Blair, Billie Johnson and Priscilla Gomez. Also surviving are his brothers, Jackie Blair, Bob Blair and Allan Blair, and 10 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Stephen Joseph Blair, and brother, Fred Blair.
