Ernest (Ernie) W. Suggs, age 85, of Clarksville, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2022, at Jubilee House.
Ernie was born August 8, 1937, in Dickson County, TN to the late Hubert Eugene Suggs and Leesey Luemma Epps Suggs. He is also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Mr. Suggs is survived by his sons, Roger, Ricky, and Tony (Nina); brother, Harold Suggs; sister, Virginia Black; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
After honorable service with US ARMY and a tour in Vietnam, Ernie continued to serve in his community as a factory maintenance at International Label until his retirement.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 21, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home and again on Saturday, October 22, 2022, until the hour of service. A Celebration of Life service will be held in the Chapel of Neal Tarpley Parchman Funeral Home on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Tyler Weaver and military rites. Friends and family are encouraged to attend. Burial will be at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
