A Celebration of Life service for Erna Wiesner Baggett, age 83, of Clarksville, TN, will be Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 2:00PM at Sykes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband, John W. Baggett. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until the time of service.
Erna was born on January 19, 1940, in Munich, Germany to Walter and Mathilde Wiesner. She passed away on October 8, 2023. Erna enjoyed watching old western movies, the Dallas Cowboys, the Kansas Chiefs, quilting blankets, recording old movies, caring for the myriad of wild animals around her house, and raising her cockatiel, Buddy.
In addition to her husband and parents, Erna is preceded in death by her son, David Baggett and brother-in-law, Toni Reiter. She is survived by her children: Ronald (Karon) Baggett, John (Pam) Baggett, Patricia (Mark) Clark, Douglas (Mary) Baggett, Freddy (Sheila) Baggett, and Jason Baggett; and sisters, Luise Cummings and Elisabeth Reiter. She was also blessed with 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
