CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Q108 is hosting an Empty Bowls Clarksville, Bowl Painting Party, featuring Q108 air personalities on Wednesday, February 12 from 4-6:30 p.m. at the Pottery Room, 110-F Needmore Road near Home Depot.
Join Q108 and let your creativity flow and paint a bowl for Empty Bowls to raise funds as well as awareness of hunger in our community.
It costs just $8 to paint a bowl at the Q108 party with proceeds going to Empty Bowls Clarksville. Money raised will be divided between Loaves and Fishes, Urban Ministries and The Food Initiative, to help feed those who are hungry in Clarksville-Montgomery County.
Empty Bowls Clarksville is scheduled for Tuesday, February 25 at three local lunch sites and five dinner locations. Guests will receive a meal of soup, bread, dessert and a special hand-painted ceramic bowl to take home.
