CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Emmalee’s time on NBC’s “The Voice” has come to an end following her battle with fellow Tennessean Kelsey Watts.

Emmalee caught Kelly Clarkson’s ear at her audition with a stripped-down rendition of Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know,” earning her a team jacket. This week, Emmalee defended her spot in a battle against teammate and fellow Tennessean Kelsie Watts.

Emmalee and Watts battled it out with head-to-head performances of Demi Lovato’s “I Love Me.”

NBC aired highlights from the battle last night and, while fans only got to see clips, they did get a winner.

The pair gave team leader Clarkson  an difficult choice; but ultimately, it was Watts who moved forward, with Clarkson calling her a “firecracker” and “the whole package.”

“I’m just town now, because you both did so well at really doing exactly what I asked,” said Clarkson on the show. “The winner of this battle is Kelsey.”

Not one to be discouraged, Emmalee took Instagram to thank her fans for their support.
