Emma L. Caruthers, age 92 of Clarksville passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2021, at TN State Veterans Home.
Emma was born March 10, 1929, in Grandview, TN to the late Norman Godsey and Ocie Reed. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, William E. Caruthers; her daughter, Patricia Gawarecki, and son, John L. Caruthers. She is survived by her son, Sonny Caruthers, and grandchildren: Joshua Douglas, Josef Caruthers, Kelly Ankrom, and 6 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home with Rev. Micheal Guertin officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, March 27, 2021, from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant UMC Cemetery. Family and friends will be pallbearers.
