Elona Kay Pollard May, 63, of Belpre, OH, died on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta, OH. She was born in 1950 in Evansville, IN to the late Lester Pollard and Lillian Dillinger Pollard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dale May and brother, Roger Pollard.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Pastor Randy Corn of Bethlehem Freewill Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Neptune-Smith Cemetery in Ashland City, TN. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 16, 2013 from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, August 17, 2013 from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Elona was a member of Springhill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Scott (Jo) May of Ashland City, TN; daughter, Janis (Aaron) Holdren of Little Hocking, OH; five brothers, Ron (Phyllis) Pollard, Wayne (Laura) Pollard, Mike Pollard, Kenny Pollard of Florence, KY, and Jeff (Melissa) Pollard of Crittenden, KY; sister, Deborah (Bill) Smith of Florence, KY; and four grandchildren, Samantha May, Amanda May, Brooke Holdren, and Austin Holdren.
Pallbearers will be Ron Pollard, Wayne Pollard, Kenny Pollard, Jeff Pollard, Mike Pollard, and Terry Dillinger.
