Elizabeth Foster Quick, age 93, of Clarksville, died Friday, April 18, 2014 at her home. She was born in Huntsville, AL, to the late Robert Foster and Emma Lula Biggs Foster. Mrs. Quick was also preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Robert Quick, and one son, Gary Quick.
Elizabeth was a member of First Baptist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She taught third grade Sunday School for over 20 years and also sang in the Senior Choir.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22 at the Chapel of Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home, with Dr. John David Laida and Dr. Roger Freeman officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, April 21 and from 12:30 p.m. until the hour of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
Elizabeth is survived by two sons, Greg (Yasuko) Quick, of Orange Park, FL, and Terry Quick, of Woodlawn, TN; daughter, Cindy Quick (Vincent) Caira, of Clarksville; six grandchildren, Gary Quick, Tracey Barry, Jason Quick, Anthony Quick, Sebastian Caira, and Isabella Caira.
Pallbearers will be Vincent Caira, Jason Quick, Terry Quick, Greg Quick, Sebastian Caira, and Anthony Quick. Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the Joy Sunday School Class.
