Elisha Steven Thornton Jr., age 62 of Clarksville, TN passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Metro General Hospital.
Sykes Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements. Visitation was from 10 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at St. Michaels Catholic Church. The Funeral Service was at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Church. Burial followed at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
He was born on September 11, 1952 in Chicago, Ill to the late Elisha and Loretta Vaughn Thornton. He was a believer in Jesus Christ and a Veteran of the US Army.
He is survived by his children, Allen Thornton, Victoria Thornton; siblings, Lynette Jackson, Jessica Gamblin, Terez Robinson, Douglas D. Thornton, Stacey Hoggs, Rodney Thornton, Victor E. Thornton,Sr., Kelly K. Orsby; first cousins, Lawana Goss-McCaskill, Lavetta Goss-Stewart, Larry Goss and Violet Sell, the love of his life. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles and a host of other family and friends.
Family served as pallbearers.
