CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (CLARKSVILLENOW) – Clarksville Fire Rescue responded to the Chick-fil-A restaurant at 1626 Madison Street Tuesday morning.

Jim Knoll, Public Information Officer for the Clarksville Police Department, said an electrical outlet shorted out and the restaurant was evacuated as a safety precaution.

No one was injured.

As of 8:45 a.m., no flames or smoke were visible at the scene.

The restaurant’s entrance was blocked off at 8:45 a.m. but store owner David Blevins said the restaurant will be back open and ready for business at 10:45 a.m.
