CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The State Primary and Montgomery County General Election was held today, and polls closed at 7 p.m.
Here are the Montgomery County results in the contested races, with early and absentee votes, plus 38 of 38 precincts reporting.
U.S. Senate
Republican Primary
- Marsha Blackburn, 89.26% (7,608 votes); statewide, 91%
- Tres Wittum, 10.3% (878 votes); statewide, 9%
Democratic Primary
- Gloria Johnson, 66.08% (2,768 votes); statewide, 75%
- Marquita Bradshaw, 25.52% (1,069 votes); statewide: 17%
- Lola Denise Brown, 5.32% (223 votes); statewide: 5%
- Civil Miller-Watkins, 2.94% (123 votes); statewide: 3%
Tennessee House, Dist. 68
Republican Primary
- Aron Maberry, 43.3% (2,568 votes)
- Joe Smith, 37.26% (2,210 votes)
- Carol Duffin, 12.24% (726 votes)
- Greg Gilman, 7.12% (422 votes)

- Kacie Bryant, R, 57.47% (1,311 votes)
