CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The State General and City Election was held today, and polls closed at 7 p.m. On the ballot were City Council races, state House and state Senate races, Congressional races and the presidential election.

Here are the final, but unofficial, Montgomery County results in the contested races, with early and absentee votes, plus 38 of 38 precincts reporting.

  • Donald Trump, R, 58% (47,785 votes); statewide: 64.2% (1,961,000 votes)
  • Kamala Harris, D, 39% (32,723 votes); statewide: 34.5% (1,048,000 votes)

U.S. Senate

  • Marsha Blackburn, R, 58% (46,097 votes); statewide: 63.8% (1,916,591 votes)
  • Gloria Johnson, D, 38% (30,661 votes); statewide: 34.2% (1,026,294 votes)

U.S. House, Dist. 7

  • Mark Green, R, 58% (45,443 votes); districtwide: 59.5% (191,832 votes)
  • Megan Barry, D, 38% (30,109 votes); districtwide: 38% (122,593 votes)
