CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – Incumbent Judge Adrienne Fry won her first election as Circuit Court judge, Part 1, for Montgomery and Robertson Counties on Tuesday.
Her opponent for the seat, attorney John Holt, called to concede Tuesday night.

Fry had 7,744 votes to Holt’s 4,765.
“Taking the bench in the county you love, the place you’ve made home, is one of the greatest honors of my entire life,” Fry told Clarksville Now.
“Putting your name on a ballot is never a choice you make alone, it’s really an experience that brings so many people along with you including, well for me, it was my family, my campaign team, my friends and supporters, and those that have shared many months with me since the campaign really began, and I’m forever grateful for my loved ones that are here tonight celebrating with me.”
The two were running for the Republican nomination to replace Judge Ross Hicks, who retired last year. There are no opponents in August, so the winner will be seated as judge.
