CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Foundation welcomed the 2015-2016 Leadership CMCSS Class with a reception which took place at 5:30 p.m. on the evening of August 24 at the Clarksville Regional Airport.

Education Foundation President Brian Taylor, Education Foundation Executive Director Candy Johnson and Director of Schools B. J. Worthington all spoke at the reception, with Worthington highlighting the connection between students, the community and the school system.

The program will involve six half-day sessions in which the leaders from the community and local businesses will learn about public education and the internal workings of the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. The sessions will take place each month beginning in September 2015 and ending in May 2016.

This year’s class is the fourth official group to go through the year of sessions.
