Clarksville-Montgomery County Education Association proudly endorses Dr. Laura Barnett for School Board District 2 and Bernard Carter for School Board district 6.
Dr. Barnett has 32 years of public education at a variety of levels. She supports educators, students and parents through experience and proven leadership.
Bernard Carter is a 30-year veteran with long ties to the Clarksville community. Carter’s children and grandchildren attend Clarksville schools with one child returning to serve as an educator. We appreciate his willingness to meet with educators to share his vision of school safety, competitive salary, and community involvement in our schools.
CMCEA trusts these candidates to focus on local interests over state and personal promotion. These candidates support keeping public money in public schools to benefit all Clarksville-Montgomery County School students.
