CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The Clarksville-Montgomery County Economic Development Council hosted an open house Friday morning to welcome the public into its new downtown headquarters.
The EDC’s new location is at 335 Franklin St. Buck Dellinger, CEO and president of the EDC, said the downtown location was important. The building supports the organization’s long-term plans and places the EDC in the center of ongoing growth and development.

Dellinger said the building brings together Visit Clarksville, the Industrial Development Board, the Chamber of Commerce, the EDC, the Aspire Foundation and Leadership Clarksville in one central space, making it easier to work together while staying closely connected to downtown activity and future improvements. For the last 18 years, these agencies’ offices have been in rented space in the top floor of the bank building at 25 Jefferson St., according to previous Clarksville Now reports.Â
The open house allowed community members, business leaders, and local officials to tour the renovated space and learn more about the EDC’s mission and future plans. For more, visit the EDC website or call 931-647-2331.
