CLARKSVILLE, TN (CLARKSVILLE NOW) – The annual Montgomery County Parks and Recreation Easter Egg Hunt was held at Civitan Park on Saturday and drew families from across the area.
The community event has grown into one of the county’s largest spring gatherings. There were separate hunts designed for younger children, elementary-age participants and older youth. Organizers also held an Adaptive Easter Egg Hunt to make sure individuals of all abilities had the opportunity to participate.

One of the highlights of the morning was the helicopter egg drop, made possible through a partnership with the Austin Peay State University College of STEM’s aviation program. Attendees also had the chance to see an APSU helicopter up close.
In addition to the egg hunts, families could take photos with the Easter Bunny, enjoy food trucks and see emergency vehicles up close around the park.
