The Zinc Plant is getting ready to host its second annual Community Drive-thru Easter Egg Event.
“It’s time for the fluffy little guy to hop around with his basket spreading joy to the little ones in our community,” said Nyrstar Human Resources Manager Patricia Bowling.
Drivers will pull into an auto line and make their way through the Nyrstar Easter Bunny course. Each child will receive a goodie bag and have a visit with the Easter Bunny. Randomly selected winners from four age groups will have multiple opportunities at prize eggs. Prize eggs correspond with larger grand prize gifts at the end of the course.
There will be a live drawing, sponsored by Fortera Credit Union, for one lucky adult that attended the Easter Egg Event announced on Rewind 94.3.
In 2021, the first year of the event, over 450 children came out to meet the Easter Bunny and pick up treats.
The Community Drive-thru Easter Egg Event will be Saturday, April 9, rain or shine, 10 a.m.-noon, at Nyrstar Zinc Plant, 1800 Zinc Plant Road.
