CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – (CLARKSVILLENOW) Early voting for the Montgomery County Republican and Democratic Primary Election on May 1 opens Wednesday, April 11 and runs through Thursday, April 26.

To cast your ballot and vote early you can visit the Montgomery County Election Commission Office in Veterans Plaza at 350 Pageant Lane, Suite 404 which is two doors down from the Clarksville-Montgomery County Public Library.

You can vote early starting April 11 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, and also Saturday, April 14 & 21 from 8:00 a.m. – noon.

The County Primary Election ballot on May 1 will include the following Montgomery County offices: County Mayor, County Commissioners (all 21 districts), Trustee, Sheriff, Circuit Court Clerk, County Clerk and Register of Deeds.

Montgomery County Administrator of Elections Elizabeth Black said in order to vote early you will need to bring Tennessee-issued photo ID or a federal government photo ID.

For those who are not yet registered to vote in Tennessee or Montgomery County, online voter registration is now available through GoVoteTN.com.
