Early voting ends next week, leaving one weekend to vote before Election Day

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn (CLARKSVILLENOW) – There are only six days left to vote early in the general election. Early voting in Tennessee ends on Oct. 29 at 6 p.m.

According to the Montgomery County Election Commission, nearly 30,000 people have cast their votes early as of Oct. 22.

That’s more than double the number of early voters from this point in 2016, which came out to 13,499.

The total number of 2016 Montgomery County voters, including both early and election day, came out 36,855.

The Montgomery County Election Commission updates the voter numbers daily after the polls close.

Election day is on Nov. 3. Voters can find polling hours as well as a sample ballot here.
