CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Fire Rescue responded to an early morning house fire at 3717 Harvest Ridge Road in the Merriweather Farms Subdivision Monday.
There were six people in the home at the time of the blaze but none of them were injured.
Fire Marshal Ray Williams says the call was received around 4:00 Monday morning and all of the occupants are safe after they were alerted to the fire by a smoke alarm. Williams added the home was heavily damaged by the fire and no cause has been determined, but investigators believe the fire may have been intentionally set.
